The Good News:
I know it's difficult to see any good news amongst all the bad news of pain and suffering around the world. But there is a sliver of good news for Coronavirus.
Every day I chart the official percentage change in new cases published each day. It has dropped significantly from a high of 95% 26 days ago to only 8% two days ago and the day before.
Today the official percentage change in new cases as dropped to a record low of 6%.

So maybe the harsh regime China has initiated is, in fact, preventing fewer people, percentage-wise, from being infected every day.

As I walked on the beach a few days ago I concluded that based on watching the daily news intensely the last three weeks that this virus may be soon under control.
With all the harsh quarantine regimes in place and knowing that after 14 days of quarantine there may not be any new cases there's a good chance that this will all cool down in the very near future.
Although it's hard to make a prudent decision at this time, because we don't have all the facts, if the statistics being released are true then this may all be history in a month or two.
In the meantime stay safe, practice very good hygiene and stay away from anybody that may be contagious.
Indonesia & Bali are free from this deadly virus as of this date on January 31st according to Indonesian Authorities.
New Cases May End in March or April:
Now, are you ready for some really good news?
If the number of new cases reported only stays at the same percentage increase per day as it is right now the number of new cases reported in early March or April will be down to two or three.
That's right that's not a typo, two or three new cases. This means the spread of the virus could be over by March.
Countries around the world are taking drastic actions to prevent this disease from spreading such as quarantining everybody returning from China and stopping all flights to China.
There's a good chance that it may even slow down faster than I'm predicting and we could be seeing no new cases reported as early as mid-February.
Unfortunately, this still means that by the time it is over there will be 50,000 to 60,000 cases diagnosed worldwide and 1% to 3% on them will sadly pass.
Primarily again those will be those with weakened immune systems which are primarily older people who already have diseases.

Of course, there are a lot of variables involved in this deadly disease.
Many things can change overnight.
