One thing that has become a tradition for many years now has been to enjoy our wonderful friendship with Yulin & Tim Robins on Chinese New Year.
This year the celebration was held at their Spectacular Villa Vedas which a few years ago was ranked as the number 1 Villa in Bali.
Our family and I were invited to go over there Chinese New Year's Eve to enjoy a magical evening.
Yulin and Tim's son Lucas has grown a lot since I knew him as a young child. He has finally reached my height.
They invited us to stay in one of their magnificent huge bedrooms on the ground floor next to the pool.
The staircase is one of the highlights of the Villa.

Villa Vedas is arguably one of the very best venues for weddings in Bali and is receiving rave reviews.
An opportunity once again to meet and converse with Ritchie, one Australia's top realtors.
Many of Yulin and Tims friends, associates and potential clients also attended the gala affair.

Tim finally had it a chance to break away from his potential clients and friends and join us.
Finally, Yulin, who had been cooking for two days in preparation for the evening emerged from the kitchen and joined us.
We've been friends for approximately 17 years. We met in Bali when we both had Yachts here
Our boys have become friends as well.
Even Budhi, who has been with Yulin and Tim for almost as long as I've known them was still around to assist with the preparation and sampling of the food.
A quick break to freshen up and change for the evening in the luxurious bedroom.
Finally, it was time to sit down and prepare for the sumptuous meal.
Yulin had prepared anything your heart desired
And everything was absolutely delicous.
The boys gave a two thumbs up.
There were nationalities present from all over the world including Russia, France, America, Australia and of course yours truly from Canada and my lovely wife Azizah a Notaris in Indonesia.
A few actually got some dancing in as well.
Finally, the lion dance group had found their way through the rice paddies of Changu and Tabanan.
Xander fed the Lions some cash for good luck.
Azizah and Elizabeth could not pass on an opportunity to pose with the lions.
Yulin, host extraordinare, enjoyed one last dose of luck from the lions
Tim and their son Lucas joined in as well.
After a restful evening, I was up at dawn to enjoy my traditional walk on the beach.
Past some exotic Temples.
Then back to Villa Vedas.
Finally it was time for breakfast and then a fond farewell after which we went to a movie, shopping mall and another Chinese dinner.
