Yesterday the president of China Xi Jinping issued a dire warning to Hong Kong protesters.
If you read into that warning it simply states if you don't cut it out there will no longer be the separate Hong Kong government known as "one country, two systems" principle.
I've been warning about this for weeks now and frankly although I support some of the ideas of the protesters I think they have gone too far.
They've destroyed the Hong Kong economy and now's it's in recession.
The travel industry is in ruins. Five-star hotel rooms are selling for $20 per night, if they can get guests. I have nothing but empathy for my fellow hotel owners and managers and the Hong Kong Travel industry.

The average citizen in Hong Kong is living terror including several of my friends.
Few of them are have already moved to Bali in place like Australia are receiving extraordinary demand from Hong Kong citizens wishing to escape from Hong Kong with their families.
It'sParents of students studying in Hong Kong from Australian throughout the world are moving there are children out. I don't think they will let them come back.
My personal opinion is that there's no way they will convince the government to meet their demands with violence.
Shooting bows and arrows and Molotov cocktails at police is not going to improve anything.
When the world saw protesters set an angry senior Hong Kong citizen on fire the other day that was the final straw as far as I'm concerned.
Unless you have ever had a severe burn on your body as I have you will not understand what severe pain something like that can cause to an individual. Whoever did it should be arrested and put away in jail for 20 years.
No wonder police are shooting back. If somebody was shooting bows and arrows, petrol bombs at me I would shoot them in a heartbeat.
And if they think the United States is going to come to their rescue they have another thing coming.
Trump is a pussy, but he's not stupid enough to get involved in Hong Kong politics while he is trying to finalize a deal with China before he totally loses his election campaign by causing such international strife.
Besides, let's not forget Hong Kong is owned by China and any support by America or any other country financially or militarily would be deemed an act of war.
Warning:
I know you protesters are all brave and passionate and you think this is going to help but it won't.
In fact, it will do the opposite.
It will force the president of China's hand and troops may cross the border takeover to declare martial law.
That will be the end of the "one country, two systems" principle.
History will not look back at their violent protests favorably.
I hope I'm wrong.
For the record I have no financial interests in anything in Hong Kong but since Hong Kong is a neighbour of Bali or the six hours away I have concern about the future of Hong Kong.

HONG KONG — In a rare public intervention on the subject, Chinese President Xi Jinping said spiraling protests in Hong Kong were challenging the "one country, two systems" principle ruling the mainland's relations to the semi-autonomous region.
Halting the clashes and "controlling chaos" was the most urgent task facing Hong Kong officials, Xi said during a trip to Brazil on Thursday, adding that the “continuous violence and crimes are seriously jeopardizing justice and public safety."

Protests in the former British colony — which operates under the one country, two systems principle that allows it greater liberties compared to its mainland counterparts — were sparked six months ago by a controversial extradition bill. These quickly morphed into sometimes huge and violent demonstrations with broader demands for more democracy and police accountability.
Beijing denies it has interfered in Hong Kong's management of the months of spiraling violence, and instead blames the West for fomenting the protests that pose one of the most serious challenges to Xi since he came to power in 2012.
Xi's comments came the same day a 70-year-old hit by bricks police said had been thrown by "masked rioters" died.

Police said the man, whom they identified as "Luo," was believed to have been on his way to lunch when he was hit during a clash between protesters and local residents, police superintendent Chan Tin Chu told reporters.
“We believed that Luo was filming the scene when black-clad protesters began throwing metal rods and bricks at residents. Then somebody in black dashed forward and hurled a brick at his head,” Chan said.
Luo was found unconscious on the spot, taken to a hospital emergency room, and then later transferred to the neurosurgery high-dependency unit.

NBC News could not confirm the police's version of events.
Thursday's death capped a week of violence. On Monday, police blamed a "rioter" for dousing a man in petrol and setting him on fire. The victim is in critical condition.
On the same day, police shot a protester in the abdomen. He is in stable condition.
